When spring comes, volunteers from our group brighten up the village by providing free hanging baskets to the residents of Ayr Road and Main Street, with one simple request: please remember to water them!

With the exception of 2020, where we were unable to meet due to COVID-19 restrictions, this project has occurred annually since 2014.

2019's baskets were supplied by Hyndford Nursery, and made possible with funding from Hazelside Micro Grants.

As well as hanging baskets, daffodils and wildflowers have also been planted in areas around the village, which are not only beautiful, but also support the local ecosystem.
