Cameronians and castles may be be a thing of the past, however plenty of noteworthy things are still occurring in our wee village. Take a look at some of the events that have happened more recently in the Douglas Valley.

The village's Main Street was lucky enough to be chosen as a location for filming part of the Agatha Christie drama, Ordeal by Innocence.

The street was given a bit of a makeover, with period shop fronts and advertisements.

The filming went on til late at night, and there is some excellent pictures of the surrounding area covered in the fake fog.
